What is lip stain? is it a lip gloss? or a lip stick?

It basically colors your lips a different color, except not in the chunky, unnatural way lip stick does. Lip stain won't leave marks on anything you might touch with your lips, such as glassware, silverware, clothes, etc. Plus, it looks natural. When putting on lipstick, it looks obvious that you got something on your lips. But not so with lip stain. It'll just look as if it's your natural lip color. A lip stain has more pigment than a lipstick. It is not a gloss, but instead is used for a natural look. It is not creamy, but dry going on. It does dry your lips out, so I recommend a small amount of gloss over the stain to moisten.
Lip stain is like lipstick, except not as intense; it is more natural-looking.





You can always create your own lip stain from lipstick by smudging the color onto your finger, then applying from your finger.
It's neither. It's like its own thing. I have one, and they have a few at Ulta (that's where I got mine.) It basically makes your lips look like you've been eating a bunch of cherries but in a good way.

It stains your lips basically. It will come off, but not as easily as lipstick
lip stain is more permanent i think.
its like inbetween lipstick and a gloss. but it stays on longer than a gloss
