I accidently left lip gloss in my pocket and it made my pocket really sticky and stained all of my other pants...help!!How do you get lip gloss stains/ it self out of pants?
try by scrubbing the pants with an old but new(bristles stilll hard) toothbrush and put some powder soap on them, soak them for at least 20 minutes and try scrubbbing them. use something like oxyclean, or find out a way of getting out petroleum jelly(lipgloss is basically that) from jeans:)

A professional steam cleaner. If you start spraying on chemicals, etc. it will make the stains permanent. Home depot or other equipment rental stores have them for rent.

Revlon 'Just Bitten' lip stain. what's the Best shade for me?
I want to get one. I know where to buy them, but I only want one.
I have light skin, not totally pale, but I'm not tan.

I'm was pretty sure I had ruled out plum tart and blood orange, because I wanted the most natural looking one, plum, which is purple, isn't natural at all, and orange, well that's just obnoxious with my skin.
I was thinking of getting the berry juicy one, because I heard that the cherry tart was very bright red.
so now after many mixed reviews, I'm not sure. I heard the orange in the blood orange was mute, and it was more redish. and that the cherry tart looked better after it dried and wasn't so 'loud' and a lot of people said the plum wicked was pretty.
I'm confused, I wish I could see what they looked like on someones lips as an example! all the reviews are giving me mixed messages. or i can't see the pictures/video because the lighting is bad.

Alright...so I'm going shopping tomorrow (either Meijer's or Walmart, I'm not sure which yet) and I'm looking for a nice lip tint (or stain or something along those lines). I want something that gives my lips a natural pinky/rosy color, but isn't really glossy or anything. Something that looks like it's a natural lip color, not something fake.
And i'd prefer something in a stick form (not a jar I have to then apply with my fingers), so I can apply it without using a mirror.
Also...please make it a brand I could get at those stores (as in, drugstore brand). I don't have a lot of money to spend on it.

i have mates that work in a commercial laundry that does all the linen for restaurants etc. The thing they can't get out even with double doses of chemicals is lip balm and lip gloss form serviettes / napkins.
They only ever become aware of stains that need extra treatment after they have being dried / ironed. After trying heaps of expensive products they have found only one that will remove the stain efficiently it is Exit soap and it comes in a small bar and is really cheap and easy to use.
Dont dry them if the stain doesnt come out, Try dawn dish soap with a toothbrush.
use hot water and a dish washing liquid with a wash cloth or soft tooth brush.

Highly pigmented lip stain!!!!Where?
Hi everyone!
I am in search of the perfect lip and cheek stain. I have used Tarte, Benetint, Nars, Body Shop, Styli- Style, Go and Revlon. From them all I prefer the body shop - it's simple and ok BUT I really need a highly pigmented lip and cheek stain. I would like a deep red which I could use just some drops to achieve that reddish tone that looks so good on me. From all the stains I have used, they all have the same problem! - they are all very poorly pigmented! I need to use and use and use and use and use.. lol.. several times before it reaches the tone I want!
I am looking for something more dramatic as this pinkish Colors tend to disappear on my face and lips!
Please help me before I spend ALL my money looking for the THING. Lol

does anyone know of any pale pink lip stain out there? i have dark red lips and i really like the pale lip look.. its hard to find the right stains though because a lot of them are too dark for my liking and then the real pale ones that i like aren't matte enough to cover all the redness of my lips.. i want my lips to look something like this ...

If you have deeply pigmented lips I don't think a stain is going to counteract that. What you need to do is pale your lips and then apply the colour of lipstick or gloss that you like (from the picture you would need a pale pink colour). MAC has a product called lip erase, its essentially concealer (which you can use instead) you put on your lips before lipstick or gloss to tone down the natural colour of your lips.

I'm not really a lipgloss or lipstick person. It just sticks to my hair, and gets in the way, and really pisses me off. Its beautiful, but I dont have the patience to use it. Thats mainly the gloss. But when I've tried lipstick, its made the space between my lip and my nose really sweaty. Which is slightly gross, very annoying, and if I try to casually wipe it with the back of my hand, I get a giant pink smudge on it, and my lipstick is then uneven. Yayy.... So, you see why I'm not a fan of the lip products.

THIS WORKS!!
1.)Circle the stain with dish soap. (DON'T SKIP THIS STEP!)
2.)Spray stain with WD40 and allow it to set for 20 minutes (this will reactivate the stain).
3.)Using the dish soap circle (you may want to add extra dish soap), and an old toothbrush scrub the stain until it disappears.
4.)Launder as usual.

Go to your grocery store and in the laundry isle next to the stain removers there should be a rack with a product named ';Carbona'; they make a remover for aany and all types of stains. I use the all purpose and its takes everything off.
They are small yellow bottles in its own little rack.
You want to make sure you are not adding an additional stain to the clothes, so try solutions on an inconspicuous spot (like an inside seam edge or bottom hem) to see if bleaching will happen. I have found very hot water and oxyclean works well. Test first, and good luck!

If you want a cheaper version, I find that Bonnebelle actually sells really good ones. They have pale pink ones with shimmer, and others without shimmer. I'm not sure of the exact name, but it has a black lid. You'll see it right away.
If you want a better quality version, MAC sells MAC Lipglass. Get it in the shade Viva Glam, or one shade lighter. This line of lip glosses has tiny shimmer particles that aren't overdone. If you get lipglass, it has a hint of gold shimmer - really pretty. I'd say lipglass is around $15.00 meanwhile Bonnebelle is around $6.00. The MAC lipglass also has a black lid.
If you buy from MAC, they let you test the cosmetics before you buy them.
I have both brands, but I recommend MAC simply because it's better quality. Seriously, I could eat a full meal and it would still be on. It also lasted half a night of partying. If I'm at school and I wear it, it lasts the whole day - from like 8:30 until 2:00, with maybe another reapplication when it gets closer to 2. First of all, check it and see if it is a long wearing lipstick. (I know it sounds stupid but it could actually be staining.) I always use a cream cleanser to wash off make-up. It cleans better that anything else and leaves NO TRACE of residue. I use one by PURIST from SALLY'S BEAUTY SUPPLY. It's really affordable if you want to try it out. (sorry if this sounds like a commercial for Sally's; I worked there for 3 years.) :)
Lip stains are designed to last for about 3-4 days. I am not sure that there is a way to remove a lip stain. It kind of just wears away over time. Think of it as a semi-permanent hair dye for you lips. Doesn't last forever but goes away over time.

I would use mineral oil, or cooking oil of some sort. Baby Oil on your lips? Yuck.. How bout good ol' vaseline? Or ya could just buy the ol' cheap lipstick instead of the smudgeproof, kissproof kind...

the best thing to do is to use a cleanser.make sure it does not contain harmful chemicals or alcohol coz it might damage your skin cells.the clenser i use is grace aloe cleanser its herbal and good for my skin.

First of all, check it and see if it is a long wearing lipstick. (I know it sounds stupid but it could actually be staining.) I always use a cream cleanser to wash off make-up. It cleans better that anything else and leaves NO TRACE of residue. I use one by PURIST from SALLY'S BEAUTY SUPPLY. It's really affordable if you want to try it out. (sorry if this sounds like a commercial for Sally's; I worked there for 3 years.) :)
Lip stains are designed to last for about 3-4 days. I am not sure that there is a way to remove a lip stain. It kind of just wears away over time. Think of it as a semi-permanent hair dye for you lips. Doesn't last forever but goes away over time.

I have a very strange complexion, it's yellowish. And most lip stains are a light bright red and wash me out. I realized that I look good when my lips are darker, like a burgundy/ wine/ dark red. I bought it. It is a very intese bright red. If you can pull that color off then cool. And it has staying power. I had a helluva time getting it off! I think of the barbie lips..really bright and noticeable....might be a good base for something darker? I didn't care for it really...and esp not for that price...

As a lip tint it looks nice with a clear gloss on top or under lipsticks to darken them a bit...nude colors were great with it. It's made out of glycerin and rose petals. The body shop lip stain?

I have tried the one from the Body Shop but I personally prefer Benefit's Benetint, I find the colour to be more flattering on me. You can buy it in a product called the Pocket Pal and this has one side stain and the other side gloss to allow you finish off your look with one product.The body shop lip stain?
I love it. I don't wear much makeup, and this stain is one of the few things I reach for every morning. Unless you're really fair-skinned, it's a stain, so no matter how many times you layer it on, it never looks unnatural. Hi, I want to buy some lip stain, I've heard a lot about it and think it looks cool. The only thing is, I've searched and searched but all the shades I've found were orange-ish or purpl-ey or bright berry red. I have fair skin, dark hair and go a bit for the romantic, soft look. What is a good, kissable, not sticky, wont smudge or peel ever, even though its very dark lipstick/lip stain?
I am performing in ';Moulin Rouge'; this next week and will be playing the character of Satine... Obviously, that means a lot of kissing.
I have to wear a very dark/bright red color lipstick. Whats a good one that wont screw up and make me have to re-apply? I don't really have time to between scenes.

so obviously its not gonna be like a lipgloss coz its oily it will soak in quick, its more just a lip plumping treatment ill use before i put on my gloss.
but was wondering what other ingredients i can put in it for extra plumpnesss? and what can i use for colour, as its made up of oils i cant do the melted lipstick thing coz that would set and the oil wouldnt, it'd just be a mess lol, i was thinkin maybe a bit of pink food colouring? would that be ok?

If you are not allergic, try Cyenne Pepper, seriously it will sting a little but that's what the others say to use when all else fails, use that with the cinnamon

And Laura Mercier's lip stain in Scarlet. I can put it on heavy, more like lipstick, or really light and it doesn't feel dry or flaky. This one was more, I believe around $18.

There are some really great ones out there! L'oreal's infalliable gloss is amazing. It gives full on color, really lasts and has a great texture for like 7 bucks. Chanel probably has the most luxurious gloss known to man. It's so creamy and pretty. It makes you feel expensive. MAC is probably best for colors and benefit's benetint for lip stain

It's about $8 I think but they normally have some kind of deal where you can get a few for that price or so.
It smells great, it isn't sticky, and it's just a nice average lipgloss. I like to use it on normal occasions or I put it over a lipstick to make it glossy.

Well for now I keep it cheap, about $3..it's liquid Lip Smacker. I'd say strawberry and watermelon are the best flavors but I'm currently using watermelon. I've been trying to find good lipglosses too but I always spend my money on the little occasions I have it on something else.

I love Sephora brand Lush Flush Wine Cheek and Lip Stain. It's the most amazing wine, berry colored flush. Antioxidants and the cooling feeling seem more expensive than the actual $10 US price. No cons for this.

I want to get a kind of dusty rose, light pink lip stain (like the ones showed in the August issue of cosmo girl with vanessa hudgens on the cover) but I don't know where. the options they give are ones I don't have access to. And the Mark line had Kissink, which was like a felt-tip marker lip stain. The problem is that they keep discontinuing them, then bringing them back. You could probably find either one on eBay though

I clean all greasy/oily messes/stains with Dawn dish liquid. Just rub some on the stain on both sides of the fabric and wash normally.
vinager and water mix together in a bowl and get out the scrub brush or ehatever you have to scrub the staines they should come out.and leave your chair smelling nice also.

I am in search of the perfect lip and cheek stain. I have used Tarte, Benetint, Nars, Body Shop, Styli- Style, Go and Revlon. From them all I prefer the body shop - it's simple and ok BUT I really need a highly pigmented lip and cheek stain. I would like a deep red which I could use just some drops to achieve that reddish tone that looks so good on me. From all the stains I have used, they all have the same problem! - they are all very poorly pigmented! I need to use and use and use and use and use.. lol.. several times before it reaches the tone I want!
I am looking for something more dramatic as this pinkish Colors tend to disappear on my face and lips!
Please help me before I spend ALL my money looking for the THING. Lol

I was thinking about getting a lip stain but I wasn't quite sure how it worked. I want to go for the natural lip (like one you would want to kiss) but I don't want it to feel dry to the touch (kiss) like it feels when you use all day wear lipstick (like cover girls outlast all day lip color)

It's quiet messy. I wouldn't recommend it. I used it and placed a lip gloss on top, it looked alright. It didn't fray on the edges like a lip stick which was nice.
If you do get it make sure you apply it evenly or it looks not so great. Wasn't drying because I used a lip gloss on top.
With lip stain the trick is to not over-apply it. Dab just a little in the center of your lips and spread it evenly to the corners of your lips using your finger or lip brush.
When you use too much it becomes gloopy and creates a 'creeping color' effect over the edges of your mouth. Yuk!
Cover Girl outlast makes a lip stain now and I love it! This is the easiest and only lip stain that has worked for me. I got it at Target in Flirty Nude. Just use the ';magic marker'; type stick to line your lips then fill it in. Wait a minute or so then blot excess. I use chapstick over mine.

I've not used Sonia Kashuk's brand, but most stains/tints will last anywhere from 6 to 8 hrs (depending on what you eat, usually).
To remove it, most makeup removers/cleansers should work fine...if you find they do not, try something oil based, like eye makeup remover.

It is a tint, not balm or gloss, so your lips will feel more dry than if you were to wear gloss. You could always try a sheer gloss over it if your lips feel ';dry';. (This may alter the length of time the tint will stay on, however.)
With a colour like ';Sheer Bliss';, it sounds as though the result would be more natural than dramatic...

The problem here is that you must prime your lips first. Priming acts as a base for your lips, just like how you would use Eyeshadow Primer before applying eyeshadow.
In this case, try using chapstick or any sort of lip balm that glides on smoothly. This should help the lip stain from fading or settling into fine lines of your lips, which is why it would stain only certain parts of your lips.
So, moisturize and prime by applying lip balm or chapstick. Then finally apply you lip stain. :o)

It also comes with this shimmery stuff you can apply on top. I really like it.
I've never tried it before, but yeah, it's strong. Like, it doesn't come off from food or anything.

lip stain is a little like food dye, its not glossy when it dries it just has colour, i use mine all the time because its less obvious that lipstick or gloss.
I used some of my lip stain to make a lip gloss that is glossy when i put it on and the colour still remains for a while after the gloss has worn off.

and you can make it as dark or as light as you want depending on how long you let it dry before you wipe or lick it off!

lip stain is a little like food dye, its not glossy when it dries it just has colour, i use mine all the time because its less obvious that lipstick or gloss.
I used some of my lip stain to make a lip gloss that is glossy when i put it on and the colour still remains for a while after the gloss has worn off.
