Is there a way to apply a lip stain (in marker form) with your fingers or a brush?

I've tried doing it with the marker, but the result always ends up looking a little too unnatural.Is there a way to apply a lip stain (in marker form) with your fingers or a brush?
I've had the same problem! So what I do is I *dot* a little bit of lipstain on my top and bottom lip,


then I blend it into my lips using my finger. Tada!





If my lips are too dry though (thus making the lipstain too hard to rub around) I'll add a TINY bit of Vasoline to my lips (if you add too much Vasoline it will make the lipstain come off prematurely). Makes sense?

I don't think that it will go on easily without applying it directly from the pen. If you want the color to look more natural, I would recommend using a clear or sparkly gloss over the lip stain.
