Why does my upper lip stain dark like i have a mustache its NOT hair (im female) after ive been in sun ?

please dont tease me and tell me i have a 5:00 shadow, it's my skin not the hair on my upper lip and it looks terrible, i am female and it last's from hours to days till it fades away. I do ';keloid';, ehich means any scar i get heals dark.

can anyone relate to my situation? Why does my upper lip stain dark like i have a mustache its NOT hair (im female) after ive been in sun ?
This is a common--and universally disliked--tanning pattern in women. It's affected by hormones and is more likely to occur during pregnancy (';pregnancy mask';) and in people who are fairly light skinned who have tanned deeply. In many women it's the shape of a butterfly, more or less, covering the nose, cheeks near the nose, and upper lip. Some people get only the nose or lip part.

Sunscreen it faithfully. Better for it to be paler than the rest of your face than darker. Why does my upper lip stain dark like i have a mustache its NOT hair (im female) after ive been in sun ?
I have that too, slightly, but it's not from the sun. I hate it too, because I have no ahir there, but it looks like I do. I'm doomed to have peach fuzz for life....
I suggest that you use sunscreen
My face does the same exact thing. I thought it was only me. Hmm. This is just a guess, but I think the strange color is caused by the pigment in your skin reacting to the sweat glands in that area. I keep a cloth handy to keep the perspiration under my nose away and it seems to help. Once I tried a light coating of sunscreen, but the 'white' moustache look was incredibly funny - for everyone but me, until now. It was funny.
