What is the best lip gloss out there? What about a lip stain, how does that work?

I prefer glossy lip balms to actual lip gloss; they moisturize much better but you can still get kinds that are shiny if that's the look you're going for. My favorite balm is Kiehl's lip balm #1, it's pretty shiny and makes my lips really soft.





Lip stains are much different: they are a watery liquid highly concentrated in color and stain your lips to make the color last. there is no moisturization/shine factor since it dries on your lips (';stains'; them) and holds color. The best lip stain i've used is BeneTint by Benefit. It's a nail polish-looking bottle and you apply a little on your lips for a red stain. definetly the body shop... they have these little ones in pots and they are super moisterizing and smell great... AND they are cute colours :) i have all of them lol

I love lip gloss. I can't go anywhere without one. There are various lip glosses out there. It depends on rhat flavour you want actually. I use so many kinds of lip glosses but for certain oufits and stuff because it really depends on the colour. remember your lip gloss should match your skin tone and personality. Like use a light and natural flavour if there is no occasion. Remember to match the lip gloss with your makeup. I use Revlon Lipglosses. I also love a company called Lip Smackers simply because they have so many brands of lip glosses and various flavours to choose from. Lip stain is perfect. It's the best thing ever.


It's good for your lips, and it keeps them moist. It lasts for ages too.





Carmex is also good.
If price is not a concern, Stila's Lip Shine ($17) and Lip Glaze ($20) both are nonsticky and has built-in applicators. Lip gloss has more shine while lip stain gives color but less shine. L'Oreal's Colour Riche lip gloss ( $6) comes in a tube and is also moisturizing and nonsticky.
