Difference between lip stain and lip gloss?

I want a nice pink peachy color. So what's the difference between lip stain and lip gloss? Also which one should I use to get the color I want?Difference between lip stain and lip gloss?

Lip gloss just coats your lips, but lip stains actually sink in and act like a lipstick but are actually even more effective than that. Lip stains are great for really long lasting, fuss-free color (they don't smudge or smear as easily). For a light color, lip gloss is probably the best. I would suggest trying a lip pencil for a little color underneath your gloss as well. Good luck!
lip stain is almost like a lip marker, it will last longer, and be less thick than lip gloss. Lip gloss is shiney, thicker, and used more for a glossy, dewey look, rather than long lasting color.
well i think you should go with lip gloss. because, its gives you some shine and some times a lil color it also shows the guys that you are not trying to hard
