Well I've never found any that are THAT dark to begin with - but if you find it dark just make sure the brush is only lightly filled with color and lay it on your lips lightly instead of pressing down fully and if you want simply dot it in a few places on your lips and quickly press them together and smoosh around to spread the little amounts. You could also put on clear lip gloss first and just put on one or two dabs and do the same thing, it'll help to spread it out better.Whats the best way to apply lip stain?
