You stain your lips (or at least I do) by buying a lip stain or taking a dark color and rubbing it off so that it leaves a lighter version of the dark color and then covering that with a gloss. I recommend Stila Cherry Lip and Cheek Stain. Fantastic product, and smells good too!How do you 'stain' your lips and can you buy lip stains in stores?
Just take a lipstick, and put it on your lips.


To make the ';stain'; all you have to do, is take a paper towel, and blot.

If you'd like a cheaper version that is also good, try The Body Shop lip and cheek stain. I'm using it all the time and love it. I wear it with clear lip balm or, if I want more red lips, with Labello strawberry. Try!
Yes, you can purchase lip stains. If you're looking for something more up-scale, try this Sephora page http://www.sephora.com/browse/section.jhtml?categoryId=C8360. If you don't have a Sephora around you, try an Ulta. If you don't have either.. order online? Drugstores that carry CoverGirl and things like that might have a line with a lip stain, but I wouldn't count on it.

Just apply a small amount at first, your fingertip works best. Keep building the color until you have the desired color.

They make your lips really pretty/stained, cherrys are good for you, and it's totally natural!
I just discovered that bath and bodyworks has lip stains. They are amazing! I bought the pink/berry one and i love it. It just kicks up your lips color without looking like lipstick. Stains are very natural, almost like you have been eating popcicles. Also, the ones at bath and bodyworks are really inexpensive so if you dont like them it isnt that big of a deal. worht checking out! hope i helped!
