i have a very hard time wearing lipstick because of the texture and taste but i like how it can add color to my face. how well do they stay on whats the difficulty level of applying?What are some of the best and inexpensive lip stains?
Try Maybelline, they've got a great choice of colors and textures for a reasonable price (under $8 at Walgreen's).
You apply a first layer then you remove the excess with a Kleenex, then you ';powder'; your lips (some powder on a medium brush), and you apply a second layer: it should stay well like that.
Don't forget to moisturize your lips day and night. Vaseline has good products for that, or you can just use some Chapstick, the more often the best! Good luck!What are some of the best and inexpensive lip stains?
I'm currently using a lipstain by Laura Mercier that I am veryy happy with. Unlike most lipstains, (especially drugstore brands you must be careful with) it does not dry out your lips at all. Also a common complaint with lipstains is that the color does not look natural, but with this lipstain I just fell in love with the color I bought, Scarlet, it's a beautiful, just bitten cherry red. :) You'll love it.
Another lipstain that's highly popular is by Benefit. I do not use this but my sister does and likes it very much. It's called Benetint. Check these out at the links below :)

so i am a teen and i might want to get Sonia Kashuk's cheek and Lip tint in Sheer Bliss-05. Well i have a few questions about it:
~how long does it stay on? (not too long i hope)
~What does it take to remove it?
~Is it TOO much for school? (I normally wear gloss)
~Is it drying or something?
~Overall result? (natural/dramatic) [i prefer natural]

If you want a cheaper version, I find that Bonnebelle actually sells really good ones. They have pale pink ones with shimmer, and others without shimmer. I'm not sure of the exact name, but it has a black lid. You'll see it right away.
If you want a better quality version, MAC sells MAC Lipglass. Get it in the shade Viva Glam, or one shade lighter. This line of lip glosses has tiny shimmer particles that aren't overdone. If you get lipglass, it has a hint of gold shimmer - really pretty. I'd say lipglass is around $15.00 meanwhile Bonnebelle is around $6.00. The MAC lipglass also has a black lid.
If you buy from MAC, they let you test the cosmetics before you buy them.
I have both brands, but I recommend MAC simply because it's better quality. Seriously, I could eat a full meal and it would still be on. It also lasted half a night of partying. If I'm at school and I wear it, it lasts the whole day - from like 8:30 until 2:00, with maybe another reapplication when it gets closer to 2.
