Stain problem! Please help! My daughter smeared clear flavored lip gloss on an upholstered chair.?

The fabric is a polyester fiber/cotton blend. I used Motsenbocker's lift off (which says is safe for carpets, fabrics, clothes, etc.). Now I have two stains, the lip gloss and now the stain remover! Any ideas?!Stain problem! Please help! My daughter smeared clear flavored lip gloss on an upholstered chair.?
club soda, vinegar and baking soda, oxyclean, anything that fizzes but does not have soap.

the reason you have a second stain is the glycerin in the cleaner... glycerin is what is used to make soap liquid.Stain problem! Please help! My daughter smeared clear flavored lip gloss on an upholstered chair.?
I clean all greasy/oily messes/stains with Dawn dish liquid. Just rub some on the stain on both sides of the fabric and wash normally.
vinager and water mix together in a bowl and get out the scrub brush or ehatever you have to scrub the staines they should come out.and leave your chair smelling nice also.

i have mates that work in a commercial laundry that does all the linen for restaurants etc. The thing they can't get out even with double doses of chemicals is lip balm and lip gloss form serviettes / napkins.

They only ever become aware of stains that need extra treatment after they have being dried / ironed. After trying heaps of expensive products they have found only one that will remove the stain efficiently it is Exit soap and it comes in a small bar and is really cheap and easy to use.
Dont dry them if the stain doesnt come out, Try dawn dish soap with a toothbrush.
use hot water and a dish washing liquid with a wash cloth or soft tooth brush.
    oxy-clean that will do it

    Highly pigmented lip stain!!!!Where?

    Hi everyone!

I am in search of the perfect lip and cheek stain. I have used Tarte, Benetint, Nars, Body Shop, Styli- Style, Go and Revlon. From them all I prefer the body shop - it's simple and ok BUT I really need a highly pigmented lip and cheek stain. I would like a deep red which I could use just some drops to achieve that reddish tone that looks so good on me. From all the stains I have used, they all have the same problem! - they are all very poorly pigmented! I need to use and use and use and use and use.. lol.. several times before it reaches the tone I want!

I am looking for something more dramatic as this pinkish Colors tend to disappear on my face and lips!

Please help me before I spend ALL my money looking for the THING. Lol

I have also ordered Henna King for lips - has anyone tried it???

    Thanks!!!!!!!!Highly pigmented lip stain!!!!Where?
i find the body shop ones really good! i know youve tried it though and i cant really think of any others, maybe you could try using concealer and a lipstick before the stain.

of you could put a mac cream colour base on the lips before the stain.

sorry i cant be a great help.i really thing the body shop one is the bestHighly pigmented lip stain!!!!Where?
Go to superdrug on the 2true stand and they have it there. It looks like the benefit one but is a lot better. and it's only 拢1.95! 3 products for a fiver and they're all great. That's the best one I've used.

    Hope it helps =]
Try Bobbi brown, they are higher end and you can test each and every color dont waste money on cheapo drugstore crap.
i agree with whatever YOU think.

    Pale pink lip stain helpp?

does anyone know of any pale pink lip stain out there? i have dark red lips and i really like the pale lip look.. its hard to find the right stains though because a lot of them are too dark for my liking and then the real pale ones that i like aren't matte enough to cover all the redness of my lips.. i want my lips to look something like this ...

thank you!!!Pale pink lip stain helpp?
Cover Girl, Stila, Pixi (found at Target) all make lip stains. I'm sure there is one out there that would work for you.Pale pink lip stain helpp?
If you have deeply pigmented lips I don't think a stain is going to counteract that. What you need to do is pale your lips and then apply the colour of lipstick or gloss that you like (from the picture you would need a pale pink colour). MAC has a product called lip erase, its essentially concealer (which you can use instead) you put on your lips before lipstick or gloss to tone down the natural colour of your lips.
just use lipstick ? then put a caot of gloss over top.. im sure you can find that colour! this might just be a phase.. isnt lip stain permanant? haha idk thats what i thoughttt.. sorry if i wasnt helpful! can u answer mine please ? http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;鈥?/a>
you could try getting some light pink eyeshadow then put some of the powder into clear lipgloss and there you have created your own lipgloss.
try covering your lips with concealer or foundation so theyre pale

then get any color that you really like and it comes out way better without the redness of your lipss:]
Just use lip gloss. Don't worry, no one's lips are NATURALLY like that, in case you didn't know, people's lips are all red......

Best lip stain? ---benefit, urban decay?

alrighty well i want to buy a new lip stain and already have an urban decay one which i love and is pink-ish, i'd love something still subtle but more classic and rose/ red

so should i just go ahead and buy the original http://www.benefitcosmetics.com/gp/produ鈥?/a> or do you have a better brand, or have any problems with benetint, i just have a few reservations because of it's price

i mean i could buy something similar at superdrug which is the same but a quarter of the price but probs less quality?

tell me experianced make up ladies! Teach me the right way lol

but basically anything you know about stain and the types you like and prefere.

thanks so much in advance ! xBest lip stain? ---benefit, urban decay?
Mark (the Avon line) has two lip stains called KissInk. Both colors are pretty nice and long-lasting, and it's cheap enough $7 that you can buy both!Best lip stain? ---benefit, urban decay?
    I like this stuff: http://www.origins.com/templates/product鈥?/a>

    Try it in ';Off-Beet';.

    Hope I helped ( :
I use the Benetint lip and cheek tint on my cheeks daily, but it doesnt work very well on the lips im afraid.

    xx
Benefit is the best lipstain. I own it!

Benetint (lip stain)? Love/hate it? And other noteable pos./neg. please!?

I'm not really a lipgloss or lipstick person. It just sticks to my hair, and gets in the way, and really pisses me off. Its beautiful, but I dont have the patience to use it. Thats mainly the gloss. But when I've tried lipstick, its made the space between my lip and my nose really sweaty. Which is slightly gross, very annoying, and if I try to casually wipe it with the back of my hand, I get a giant pink smudge on it, and my lipstick is then uneven. Yayy.... So, you see why I'm not a fan of the lip products.

Now, even so, I love having colorful lips, so for the past year I've been lightly thinking about trying a lip stain. Since I couldnt find the bourjois lip marker, I've been thinking benetint. Havent had the chance to try it yet.

Now, I'm unexperienced when it comes to the tint. So, questions:

Does it smudge when you lightly swipe at it?

    Does it stick to hair?

Is it similar to lipstick? Or is it more of the effect you get after sucking on a red popsicle? (a nice shade that seems to become temporarily a part of your lips)

Are there any positives/negatives I should know about?

    Thankyou so much,

x CarolineBenetint (lip stain)? Love/hate it? And other noteable pos./neg. please!?
    love ittttttttt

    and also poisetint is amazinggggg

but i prefer it on my cheeks

How do I get lip gloss stains out of my clothes?

I washed clothes with lip gloss in one of the pockets and now I have stains on some of my favorite items. The lip gloss was a thick, chocolatey kind from LUSH and was made from all natural ingredients. I tried ZOUT but it didn't work. How do I get lip gloss stains out of my clothes?
tide to go stick!!How do I get lip gloss stains out of my clothes?
tide is a good one to use.
    THIS WORKS!!

1.)Circle the stain with dish soap. (DON'T SKIP THIS STEP!)

2.)Spray stain with WD40 and allow it to set for 20 minutes (this will reactivate the stain).

3.)Using the dish soap circle (you may want to add extra dish soap), and an old toothbrush scrub the stain until it disappears.

    4.)Launder as usual.
    try hair spray.
    wash it atleast 2times
Go to your grocery store and in the laundry isle next to the stain removers there should be a rack with a product named ';Carbona'; they make a remover for aany and all types of stains. I use the all purpose and its takes everything off.

They are small yellow bottles in its own little rack.
You want to make sure you are not adding an additional stain to the clothes, so try solutions on an inconspicuous spot (like an inside seam edge or bottom hem) to see if bleaching will happen. I have found very hot water and oxyclean works well. Test first, and good luck!
Try cornstarch. Put a cloth or papertowel under the spot, sprinkle with cornstarch and rub with a clean dry cloth or papertowel. The cornstarch absorbs the oils and pulls them out of the fabric. OR try Dawn dish detergent, let set overnight and laundry as usual....good luck
hairspray may be just what you are looking for!

    Good luck!
Hairspray.... then do the wash !
Trie clorix or something like that! You might also want to check the question about how to get this stain off a pure white skirt...she had a lot of good answers!
Use ';Goo Gone'; and then wash the clothing. Don't dry the clothing until the stain is completely removed (drying will set the stain in even more).
Try rubbing alcohol it works great on lipstick
The only thing that I found that works is DAWN DISH WASHING liquid. Lipsticks %26amp; gloss are oil based, Dawn gets rid of oil stains quickly - just rub some on the spots with a sponge and rinse off. I would do each spot separately. I would not put the dawn in the washing machine. GOOD LUCK. (I once saved my washable silk shirt from a lipstick stain with Dawn)
Try Goo Gone (it removes oils). Spray it on %26amp; wash immediately
Lighter fluid. Not kidding, it will get any stain out of anything with out harm..
I make a paste from my dishwasher detergent. I rub it in let it sit over night and wash the next day. It works for me.
With a very good product named Vanish!
Try squeezing a bit of fairy liquid on the stain. The gloss is oily and greasy and fairy cuts through grease leave it to soak for about 20 mins and wash as normal hope this helps.
TAKE IT TO YOU LOCAL DRYCLEANERS.DRYCLEANING WORKS BEST ON OIL BASED STAINS.
simple clean cleans anything. especially in clothes!
